Nikko Guide - Your tour guide to Enjoy and Share Nikko information
Nikko Guide provides the following 4 features .
- Get information about spots nearby
You can get sightseeing spot information by accessing beacons*2 located at over 100 famous sightseeing spots and shops like Kagon waterfall, Ryuzu waterfall and Lake Chuzenji including world heritage-listed spot like Toshogu, Futarasan Shrine, Nikkozan Rinnoji. Information available in Japanese, English, Chenese and Korean.
- Post information to spots
Post your information as texts and photos. Please post special information you discovered like "Free Wi-fi spot", "Restrooms available", "English-speaking staff available" and boast your photos of the beautiful colored leaves.
- Save spot you visited
By accessing beacons*2 located sightseeing spots, spots are marked as spots you visited in the app. Enjoy Nikko tour like "Stamp Rally". And you can get some greater information following header icon for "Post by tourist visited neaby here".
- Prevent lost rental camera
By pairing the application and rental camera, the app notice the loss of the camera. Rental camera service is available Nikko Kanaya Hotel and Nikko Senhime Monogatari.
*1. Notes on use
Notification features use Network and Bluetooth. So please be sure to check that Network is available and Bluetooth setting turned "ON".
*2. Whats Beacon?
Beacons send a signal that specify location in the tens of cm to tens of m range to provide Location-based service.
*3. Note on battery
This app use Bluetooth and GPS to detect spots.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
